Chinmaya Guruvayur Ashram
Building a Spiritual Home for Learning, Worship & Community
About the Ashram
In July 2020, Chinmaya Mission Kansas City acquired a beautiful 15-acre property in southern Johnson County to establish the Chinmaya Guruvayur Ashramβa dedicated center for Vedanta-based learning, spiritual growth, and community service.
The Ashram will provide expanded opportunities for Bala Vihar, study groups, youth and family camps, visiting Acharya lecture series, spiritual retreats, and celebrations of Sanatana Dharma. It is envisioned as a place where generations can learn, grow, and preserve our Vedic heritage.
Development of the Ashram has been organized into two execution phases to meet current needs while allowing for future expansion.
